South Dakota Referees

Week in Review

August 18th, 2008 | Topic: announcement | No Comments »

Every Thursday or Friday there is a new posting. All referees should be reading the Week in Review.  It is found at the link below.  This information should be applied to the games that we do.  I know that we do not all do College and Semi-Pro, but the US Soccer Federation is not concerned for the well being of just the MLS Refeees/Assistants, but all registered referees. Please, Please take some time once a week read and learn.  What a great asset we have at our finger tips.  click on “GET TOPIC LIST” Thank you and take care my fellow friends.                           http://ussoccer-data.com/pubtopic.htm

AJ Miller, currently serving somewhere in Iraq, sent Mike Torrenti this photo. I have enhanced it only slightly, so you can see AJ a bit better (you can click on this for a slightly larger image). Our best wishes and good thoughts are with AJ and his family.

Training dates (as well as i have been informed) for the fall of 2008 have been added to the website under the new “Training” page. Instructors, please verify your times and locations.

If you’re interested in becoming a soccer referee, we’d love to have you. Entry-level courses are the “Grade 9″ Clinics. Attend one to learn more about the game and get one of the best seats in the house!

This site was only recently created, and will be under construction for the next few weeks. I hope to have it done prior to the fall season. The site is intended to support our efforts in the SDRefs facebook group, and vice-versa. You will be required to create an account to join this site and to comment on posts. Please give me some time to get registration setup, along with swapping out the header images and the like. My best to all referees in the great State of South Dakota!
